Anna Faskin She doesn’t remember a summer that she didn’t go to the county fair. Anna Fasken is 18 years old and this is her 13th year in 4-H and second year as a Mesa County Fair Ambassador. After being born in Ft. Collins her family moved to Palisade when she was three. 4-H has been a very important part of her life. Anna has served in many leadership roles, the most recent as President of the Mesa County 4-H Council. Through the years Anna has participated in projects such as sewing, knitting, raising dairy goats, and new this year; market lambs. Outside of 4-H Anna keeps her self busy with her 11th year as an Irish Step Dancer with Colorado West Celtic Dancers. Anna has been a competitive Step Dancer since 2006. The last 7 years Anna has also enjoyed playing her cello in her school orchestra. On May 2011 Anna graduated from Palisade High School. In the fall as Anna enters University of Wyoming as a freshman. She will be majoring in Music Education. |
